Less Educated Workers are in Demand

Economic recovery is past and economic growth is in full swing. One indication is an increasing demand for the unskilled and workers who have earned less than a high school diploma. Job growth is certain with unemployment at around 4.5 percent, but unfortunately, wages are not keeping pace with inflation. Employees with higher education are the first to be hired during a recession, those workers are now scarce. People with little education are getting more job opportunities for full-time employment, and the availability of part-time shifts is simultaneously going up. Wage growth is mediocre, but basically, everyone has a job now. NY Times
